Agricultural plastic film is a product used to protect plants from water loss and other measures in agricultural production. With the advancement of science and technology, the requirements for agricultural plastic film are getting higher and higher, and various new films continue to appear. At present, there are mainly the following methods for the disposal of waste agricultural plastics abroad:

Compared with modified recycling, the technical investment and cost of simple recycling are relatively lower, and the selection is more common, but modified recycling is the development direction. However, the international recycling rate of plastics is not high, especially in developed countries. One of the main obstacles to plastic recycling is the lack of the same competitive pricing between virgin and recycled polymers. This also requires market acceptance and demand for recycled plastics.

For example, one of the uses of plastic after recycling is as a container, but in fact this solution is difficult to implement. The reasons given by the local authorities for not adopting the plastic container recycling program are as follows: insufficient funds (54%); insufficient market confidence in materials (25%); uncertain environmental benefits (19%); insufficient information (9%); lack of public demand (2%).

Due to the extremely high calorific value of waste agricultural film, which can reach 44 707 ~ 45 356 kJ, its heat energy recovery has great potential. Many developed countries have established specialized processing plants. More than 200 waste energy recovery plants have been established in the United States. In Japan and Germany, energy recovery is gaining benefits as a waste plastic treatment program. There is no special plastic incinerator in our country. Waste plastics are often burned together with municipal waste, such as the Japanese Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Martin Furnace Waste Incinerator introduced in Shenzhen and the French waste incineration equipment introduced in Shanghai Pudong. The advantage of the incineration method to obtain energy to generate steam or power generation is to minimize the pollution of the natural environment. Compared with burying and staying in the soil, this advantage is particularly prominent.

u003cbru003e For energy recovery, the key is to consider the cost of collection, transportation, reprocessing and pollution treatment. Generally speaking, energy recovery plants need to be equipped with high-temperature combustion furnaces and pollution treatment equipment to reduce air pollution. A good incinerator will not cause secondary pollution, but its cost is extremely high, equipment loss and maintenance and operation costs are high, and it must be scaled up. u003cbr /u003e
