Innovation and Application of Wet Sealing Technology in Water-Soluble Bead Production Equipment
2026-01-30
Sealing is a key process to ensure that water-soluble beads do not leak during storage and transportation. Traditional thermal sealing technology often has problems such as excessive temperature leading to PVA film crosslinking, resulting in incomplete dissolution in water. The emergence of wet sealing technology has effectively solved this problem, becoming an important innovation direction in water-soluble bead production equipment.
Wet sealing production equipment mainly includes annular blister molds, wet rollers, pressure rollers and other components . The working principle is that after the first PVA film is shaped in the mold cavity by vacuum blister, the detergent is injected, and then the second PVA film is wetted by the wet roller and bonded with the first film under the pressure of the pressure roller. This technology uses the hydrophilicity of PVA to achieve sealing without high temperature, avoiding film degradation and ensuring complete dissolution.
At present, wet sealing equipment has been widely used in the industry. It not only improves the product qualification rate but also reduces energy consumption by more than 30% compared with thermal sealing equipment . The equipment is equipped with independent vacuum systems for each row of mold cavities, which is convenient for maintenance and ensures stable production. With the continuous optimization of wet sealing technology, it will become the mainstream sealing method for water-soluble bead production.
