The manufacturing process of the heat sealing and cutting mechanism is critical to ensuring a tight seal and uniform cutting of the bean pods.
The heat sealing mold is CNC-engraved according to the bean pod shape (square, round, or irregular). The mold surface is coated with Teflon to prevent film adhesion. A built-in heating tube and temperature sensor ensure precise control of the heat sealing temperature (120-180°C).
The cutting tool is made of high-speed steel or tungsten steel and precision-ground to a sharp edge that cuts through the film without burrs. A spring buffer mechanism is also included to prevent excessive wear of the tool.
The heat sealing pressure regulation system integrates a pneumatic cylinder or servo pressure cylinder, with a pressure regulating valve controlling the pressure (typically 0.2-0.5 MPa) to ensure uniform sealing pressure.
After the mechanism is assembled, a sealing and cutting test is required. PVA film and simulated materials are used for continuous sealing and cutting to test the sealing strength (peel force ≥ 5N/15mm) and the flatness of the cutting edge. The heat sealing temperature, pressure and time parameters are optimized to ensure stable sealing and cutting quality.
